Charity Expeditions offers an exciting opportunity to become one of the key sponsors of a unique musical voyage to help protect the future of wildlife in Africa.
Project LINX, run by a non-for profit organisation Charity Expeditions and supported by Born-Free, is enabling a team of three musicians from The Royal Northern College of Music and Durham University to drive all the way to Shamwari Big Cat Rescue Centre, South Africa. The journey starts in Manchester on the 18th November 2006 and visits the schools on Born Free’s global friends programme before arriving in Shamwari in July 2007. In doing so, we aim to raise considerable funds and awareness to support both the Global Friends schools and many of the endangered species throughout the world, such as the Lion population which has fallen by over 90% in the last twenty years.
The project is now in the main stages of planning, with fund-raising concerts already outlined, however we are also offering a select set of organisations the opportunity to help to deliver it.
Apart from the benefits of helping a worthwhile cause this could give you the opportunity to be featured as part of a unique venture that is already attracting interest.
