Global Friends

Global Friends is a project of Born Free’s Education Campaign. It unites children around the world to help them learn more about different cultures, explore new people and places, the animals which these peoples often come into contact with, and how they can help to keep the wildlife in the wild!

The Born Free Foundation has many wildlife projects based in Africa. Many of these projects already help to support the community of people living near the projects, but Global Friends helps increase the link with the community and focuses on the children of the village and school. Since 2001, Global Friends has joined hands with nine schools in Africa and over forty schools in the UK.
